Karen has been a strategic member of the SCS Executive Team since joining the company, with increasing levels of responsibility. Today, as Vice President of Corporate Sales and Marketing, Karen takes advantage of a deep wealth of knowledge in sustainability practices and options to help clients identify and support the implementation of comprehensive solutions across all SCS divisions.

Karen started her science career as a medical laboratory technologist with a specialty in transfusion medicine. She later held Director and Vice President of Marketing positions at green building materials manufacturer Vetrazzo and cleantech start-up CalStar, where she distinguished both companies as sustainability leaders in their categories. Before joining SCS, Karen was Director of Global Communications for thinkstep (now Sphera), an international sustainability software and consulting company.
