HACCP for Cannabis

HACCP for Cannabis

This interactive course, delivered by food safety/cannabis professionals, covers GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and how to develop and implement a HACCP plan. HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points) is a risk assessment process for food safety, and is relevant to infused products such as beverages, chocolate and baked goods, as well as products such as solvent or mechanically extracted oils.

Most State and Health Department regulations require a qualified individual to conduct risk assessments and to put preventive controls in place. This Basic HACCP course prepares you for a third-party GMP audit and also meets training requirements for higher level GFSI standards such as BRCGS or SQF. Be proactive … and earn a GMP and HACCP Certificate!

What Our Clients Think

  • I would like to thank SCS for their fine training program. It’s our preference to send our employees to in-person trainings, but with restrictions set by Covid in 2020 we understand why SCS conducts classes via webinar. Our employees said the setup and webinars were both informative and well-paced and felt they were as close to being in-person as possible.
